Norfolk's ambulance service is having to resort to taking patients to hospital in taxis after 999 calls in an effort to ease pressures on its resources. The East of England Ambulance Trust (EEAST) have said that this option is only being used with a small number of cases and that it was only doing so when it was judged clinically safe..
